Our patients can count on me to help them navigate scheduling, financial arrangements, and insurance processing.  I truly enjoy being a trusted resource to our patients.  As a Pacific Northwest native, it was important to me to return to the Seattle area after receiving my M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Minnesota State University.   After working in human resource consulting for several years, I began working in the dental field in 2000.  I enjoy staying connected to our long-term patients and welcoming new patients to the practice.

I love to take advantage of our beautiful surroundings.  I enjoy trail running, cycling, and must have a good book near me all times.

After growing up in the Puget Sound area  and graduating from the University of Oregon and Oregon Health Sciences University, I began my dental career in Portland, OR.  After several years of work in a busy family practice, I returned home to Seattle and joined our practice.   It has been my pleasure to work with such a caring, cohesive, and knowledgeable team for so many years.  Patient care and relationships are paramount, making the goal of delivering quality dental care easy and fun.

When not in the office, I spend time with my 2 kids and enjoy running, mountain biking and outdoors in the beautiful Northwest.

After graduating from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, I moved to Hawaii.  I spent 3 years there involved in Public Health Dental care at the Kamehameha Schools.  After returning to Washington State I had the fortune to be asked to teach Dental Hygiene at Yakima Valley College and then at the University of Washington.  During that time, I also practice Hospital Dentistry at Providence Medical Center.  It is a great pleasure for me to help patients improve the health of their mouths as well as their bodies.

When I am not at the clinic, I head for the mountains as much as possible to hike or ski.  My travel plans include visiting my son who lives in Reno, Nevada and enjoying our amazing National Parks.  I also love Seattle’s vibrant stage theaters.

My favorite part about working in a dental office is being part of a team and working side-by-side with our patients.  My job is to make sure our patients are comfortable, well taken care of and educated about what is happening with their dental care.  I have been working in the dental field since 1999.  I still love what I do and take pride in giving excellent patient care.  I am personable, love people, and bring a positive attitude to all situations.

I have a very active family life with three children who all love sports.  We live on the eastside and enjoy snowboarding, hiking, dancing, and a good movie.

Knowing I can help others on a daily basis makes being a registered dental assistant such a rewarding job. And I know I’ve done my job well when my patients leave happier than when they came in.  I love to see how relieved they can be after their issues have been resolved.

When I’m not assisting my patients, I enjoy running, hiking, and continuing my education.
