First visit expectations

We care about your comfort and understand part of your comfort comes from knowing what to expect prior to arriving at the dentist. Below is an overview of what to plan for when visiting Seattle Dental Studio.

Getting to know one another

Your first visit is not only about us getting to know each other. In the time we spend together, we expect that you will have questions. We also want you to feel free to express your concerns and share with us anything you want to help make your care as personalized as possible.

Part of getting to know you and providing safe, personalized support involves reviewing your medical history. Certain medical conditions and medications can influence your treatment protocols – so you will be asked to provide a list of your medications.

Next, full-mouth x-rays and a comprehensive exam of your teeth, gums, mouth, and jaws will be performed including a non-invasive oral cancer screening.

Your initial visit is primarily an information-gathering appointment for you and our team. If you are due for a cleaning, you will also get your teeth cleaned at this first appointment.

No need to fear

And if you haven’t been to a dentist in a long while, please don’t fear. You’ve made an important decision – and no need to feel guilty either!

Once your entire exam is completed, Dr. Dbouk will talk with you about his findings. Together you can create a comprehensive treatment plan that best meets your dental health requirements and personal desires. We can prerform your treatments over time if necessary to give you the smile you need in a time-frame you can afford.

Finally, we want you to know we will go above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and safe. Not only is your physical comfort important to us, but your emotional comfort, as well. So, come in and relax – there’s no need to fear.
